This Privacy Policy applies to LTJ Trademark’s event and describes how we handle personal information and the choices available to you regarding collection, use, access, and how to update and correct your personal information. Additional information on our personal information practices may be provided in notices provided prior to or at the time of data collection.

Our organization is registered in the Romanian Chamber of Patent Attorneys under registration number 193/21.01.2019, and has its headquarters located in Bucharest, Romania, 36 Corneliu Popeia Street, 5th District.

According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), „personal data” means any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”). An identifiable natural person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, especially by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, positioning data, an online identifier or to one or several specific elements, specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

While using this website, we offer you the possibility to contact us. For these purposes we may ask you to provide us with certain information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personal data may include, but is not limited to:

LTJ Trademark aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data. Whenever you feel necessary, please contact us through the contact form to make the required changes.

If you wish to be informed what Personal Data, we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.

GDPR recognises to data subjects a series of important rights that you are allowed to exert:

Right for information – art. 13 and 14 of the GDPR – it allows data subjects to know, even from the moment when the collection is made, the manner in which the data is going to be used, to whom it will be disclosed or transferred, what are the rights of data subjects with regard to the processed data etc.
Right for access to data – art. 15 of the GDPR. It allows you to obtain, from LTJ Trademark, a confirmation whether any personal data related to you is processed or not and, if so, to obtain the access to the respective data and other useful information.
Right for data removal – art. 17 of the GDPR. It allows you to obtain from LTJ Trademark the removal of the personal data related to you, without any undue delay. Still, there are exceptions from this rule, such as the case in which the data is processed to offer the public the right to information, for statistical or archiving purposes, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, or for finding and defending a right before the court.
Right for data modification – art. 16 of the GDPR. It allows to obtain from LTJ Trademark, without any undue delay, the modification or completion of any unclear personal data related to you.
Right for data restriction – art. 18 of the GDPR.
Right for data portability – art. 20 of the GDPR. You have the right to receive the personal data that concern you and which you have supplied to the controller in a structured format, used commonly and which can be read automatically, as well as the right to send this data to another controller, without any obstacles from LTJ Trademark.
Right for opposition – art. 21 of the GDPR. You have the right to oppose at any given time the processing of your personal data.
Right for not being subjected to a decision based exclusively on automatic processing, including the creation of profiles – art. 22 of the GDPR, which can cause legal effects that concern the data subject or affect the data subject similarly in a significant measure.
Right to submit claims to the competent supervisory authority (National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing), http://www.dataprotection.ro/.
Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling – Solely automated individual decision-making, including profiling with legal or similarly significant effects is restricted except there is a ground for this type of processing that lift the restriction but we are not using your personal data for profiling and decision making.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our website does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know on our website the “effective date” at the top of the Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
